1. Refund windows by region
Depending on your location, you may have statutory or unconditional rights to withdraw from a purchase and receive a full refund within the following periods, counted from the date of the transaction:
| Region | Refund window |
|---|---|
| European Union / EEA / Switzerland / United Kingdom | 14 days |
| Turkey / Israel | 14 days |
| South Korea / Brazil / China | 7 days |
| Canada | 7 days |
| Singapore | 5 days |
If your country is not listed above, Paddle may still issue a discretionary refund if you request one within 14 days of the transaction date. Discretionary refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
2. How to request a refund
To request a refund, use one of these methods:
- Use the “View receipt” or “Manage subscription” link in your transaction confirmation email from Paddle.
- Visit paddle.net and select “Request refund”.
You can also contact us at contact@signageremote.com and we will help coordinate the refund with Paddle.
If eligible, refunds are processed to the original payment method, typically within 14 days of approval.
3. What happens after a refund
Once a refund is issued, access to the Signage Remote product ceases. We will deactivate the associated license key on our side.
4. Technical or product issues
If you experience a technical issue or defect that prevents the product from working as described, please contact us at contact@signageremote.com with your order reference, a description of the issue, and relevant technical details (for example Android version and device model). You can also contact Paddle support directly at paddle.net.
Where there is evidence of a material technical or product defect, a refund will be issued in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
5. Subscriptions
The statutory withdrawal right applies to the first payment of a subscription. It does not apply to subsequent subscription payments, except where local law provides otherwise. If you do not wish to continue, you can cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
6. Chargebacks
We encourage you to request a refund through the methods above before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank. If a chargeback is initiated, access to the product may be suspended while the matter is reviewed.
7. Paddle’s full refund policy
For complete details, see Paddle’s refund policy. If there is any inconsistency between this page and Paddle’s policy, Paddle’s policy applies.
8. Consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits your mandatory consumer rights under applicable law. If local consumer protection laws provide you with additional or non-waivable rights, the highest level of protection applies.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The version on this page applies to purchases made after the updated date unless we notify you otherwise.
